HeartFelt
Lexus Design Awards
Heartfelt, an interactive experience conceptualised by Gayle Lee and Jessica Vea, brings distant loved ones together in a tangible and intimate manner. Comprised of two paired silicon ‘hearts’, the two devices are able to read, transmit, and simulate the pulse of their counterpart by way of light and vibration. The device reflects the heartbeat of your loved one, and promotes psychological support and personal connection. We at Epsilum Design worked alongside the designers to turn this concept into working models. This included designing the internal electrical systems, the communication mechanisms, as well as the silicon outer shells.
